Donor Policy

How OZJF separates organizational support from humanitarian relief, and what donors should expect about independence and questions.

Your gift should go where you mean it to go. That is the first donor rule on this site.

What support for OZJF means

A gift to OZJF supports the organization’s own work: research, writing, publishing, outreach, and public advocacy. It does not buy control over our conclusions, endorsements, or editorial judgment.

Humanitarian relief is a different path

If your goal is civilian relief, give through the recipient organization running that aid program. OZJF does not process relief donations on this site. The support and humanitarian relief pages keep that line visible. A donor should not have to guess where the money goes.

What is not posted yet

We do not yet publish these records on this route:

  • a longer gift-acceptance policy
  • a donor-rights statement
  • a donor-recognition policy

So this page gives the short public rule. Support is welcome. It does not buy influence over the work.

Questions before you give

If your question turns on receipts, privacy, unusual restrictions, or stewardship, use the contact page before giving and label it a donor question.
