Monthly Humanitarian Giving

Clear guidance on whether monthly help should go to the relief organization or to OZJF.

Monthly giving is about what you want to sustain over time. If the goal is steady relief for civilians, use the aid organization’s recurring option. If the goal is steady support for OZJF, use the OZJF support lane.

Monthly relief giving

The public ICRC Middle East donation page currently includes a monthly option. Because that flow belongs to the ICRC, the ICRC controls the payment methods, minimum amounts, currencies, and any changes to the recurring program. Check the live page before you commit.

Monthly support for OZJF

That is a different commitment. A recurring gift to OZJF supports our own research, writing, campaigns, and public education. It is not the same as supporting humanitarian operations in the field, and it should not be presented as if it were.

Which one should you choose?

Choose the ICRC route if you want a predictable monthly gift aimed at civilian relief. Choose OZJF support if you want to strengthen this organization’s work over time. Choose both only if you want both outcomes and are comfortable treating them as separate relationships.

What recurring really means

Recurring giving is a budgeting decision as much as a moral one. Before you start, make sure the destination matches the outcome you want month after month. If that outcome is civilian relief, the ICRC is the proper home for the commitment. If the outcome is stronger OZJF publishing and advocacy, that commitment belongs with OZJF instead.

Why we do not run a recurring relief checkout

Because it would create the wrong impression. OZJF does not manage a humanitarian subscription program. The honest move is to send you to the group that does.
